Jessica and Chris chose Stoudts Brewing Company (http://stoudts.com/events/weddings-special-events-and-private-parties/) and Black Angus Restaurant as the venue to celebrate with their friends and family. This German style pub is decorated with authentic décor from the area and features a large bar with a huge variety of beers to sample. This venue is family owned and operated and Elizabeth Stoudt made sure that the celebration ran smoothly and ensured that the need’s of every guest was met.
The images of today’s celebration were captured by the talented and professional Todd Gearhart (www.toddg.net). Todd was a complete pleasure to work with and as you can see, was always in position to capture never to be repeated moments of emotion shared by the Clemente and Cunningham families.
There are a number of features that make this venue unique beyond the German Styling. One was in use during the entire cocktail area. As the guests enter the vast open space they encounter the seating area for dinner on their right and a large rectangle dance floor with a stage on their left. On the left side of the dance floor is a large open area. As guests awaited the arrival of the Guests Of Honor they were able to enjoy their refreshments while playing ping pong or corn hole.
The grand entrance got everyone to their feet as the party was introduced to “Bring Em Out”. This was followed by toasts given by Chris’s Best Man and Brother, Jessica’s Sister and Maid of Honor. Both Chris and Jessica’s father gave toasts with Charlie Cunningham providing three keys to a happy marriage. Jon Clemente followed with stories not only about the accomplishments of his beautiful daughter but about he became a father to Chris as their relationship blossomed. Jon’s stories moved the audience and himself to tears several times, they also illustrated that these two families shared a bond long before this beautiful ceremony.
There were truly too many highlights from this celebration to list them all. A few of the most memorable for me were:
The special mash-up dance with Jessica & her Father which culminated with an outward display of their shared passion of outdoor sports to the tune of Huntin’, Fishin’, Lovin’ Everyday. The impromptu dance off's between guests of all ages. Most of all, the love and closeness of these two families demonstrated in so many ways during the duration of this celebration.
