You will likely spend hours planning every element of your Lancaster wedding. No matter how long you’ve been dreaming about and planning your celebration, it will all be over in a handful of hours. When it is over you will be left with keepsakes and memories.
Since we are a DJ | Photo Booth | Lighting company you may have suspected that we would have said entertainment is the first priority. While I think wedding entertainment is important, a great photographer captures all of those moments and is worth their weight in gold!
Hiring a terrific photographer ensures that your wedding album will actually include the most beautiful and candid moments of the Big Day – so it’s really important to make sure you hire someone who really gets you and your style!
One more thing about photography: ask to see their “potatoes”. I am not a photographer, but I guarantee you that if I were to take hundreds of pictures at any wedding, I would end up with one or even two “main dishes” or eye candy. Don’t be fooled by seeing only one or two shots from a particular wedding. Ask to see them all. Look at the one hundred or so photos of their “bowl of potatoes”. If they look great that is a sign of a great photographer!

You really need to think things through when it comes to your wedding planning. A lot of things can go wrong, but as long as you have some sort of backup plan for these situations, you will be more than fine. From wedding dress stains to vendors missing in action, everything can be fixed if you plan ahead.

Having this in place will not only set the expectations and ensure that you get the most out of your day, it will help you relax and enjoy the celebration as a guest. That is the mark of a successful event: that you got to partake and enjoy it.
