With roots dating back to 1765, the estate has served as a gentry farm, Civil War hospital, and family homestead. Today, it offers multiple indoor and outdoor venues across rolling hills, wooded areas, stone structures, and open green lawns.
Cold Saturday hosts weddings in April, May, June, September, October, and November.

The Overlook (Most Popular Reception Space)

Reception capacity: 250 guests
Tented structure with panoramic farm views
The Overlook sits at one of the highest vantage points on the property, overlooking rolling hills, fields, a covered bridge, and Beaver Run Creek. It is ideal for larger guest counts and sunset receptions.

Up to 250 white padded folding chairs
The Courtyard
2,000 square feet
Reception capacity: 100 guests
Originally part of the farm’s horse ring, the Courtyard is bordered by an original fieldstone wall and spruce trees. Glass garage-style doors allow for flexible indoor-outdoor transitions.

Brown rectangular farm tables
Up to 100 matching brown chairs
Furniture cannot be swapped between venues, though outside rentals are permitted.
The Orchard Barn
1,400 square feet
Reception capacity: 75 guests
Once used for hay storage, the Orchard Barn has been renovated with cedar flooring, exposed timber beams, and iron chandeliers. Floor-to-ceiling barn doors open to panoramic field and forest views.

The Green (Outdoor Ceremony Space)
An acre of manicured lawn located between the Manor House and the Gazebo.
Ceremony capacity: up to 250 guests
Popular ceremony location
The Gazebo was hand-built on the property and serves as a focal point for outdoor ceremonies. The surrounding landscape includes ornamental trees, wildflower gardens, stone walls, and historic farm architecture.
There is no additional ceremony fee for couples married on the property.

Booking & Requirements
To secure a date:
$2,000 non-refundable down payment
Signed contract required
Remaining balance due 30 days before the event
Rental Timeline:
Friday/Saturday access: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Live/amplified music ends at 10:00 PM
Cleanup and vendor departure by 11:00 PM
Sunday/weekday events end one hour earlier
Cold Saturday hosts one wedding per day.
Vendor Policy
Cold Saturday Farm does not maintain a preferred vendor list.
Couples may choose their own vendors with the following requirements:
Caterers and bartenders must be licensed and insured
No drop-off catering
No food prepared by family or friends
Alcohol service must be professionally managed
