The Venue - Fallen Tree Farm
Fallen Tree Farm was the site for Lamis and Cody’s September wedding. This Bed and Breakfast styled venue has many unique features. One of those is that couples who book their wedding here have exclusive use of the entire property for 24 or 48 hours.
Located in Carlisle PA, Fallen Tree Farm is a short 30-minute drive from Harrisburg PA, and an hour from both Lancaster PA and Frederick MD. With the ability to host weddings of up to 200 guests and a unique and beautifully landscaped wedding ceremony site, Fallen Tree Farm offers a ton of value.
“Matt was very organized and made sure everything went smoothly. I even had a special request for the Father-Daughter dance which he nailed. ”
The Wedding Ceremony
The weather for Lamis and Cody’s wedding could hardly have been better. The outdoor ceremony allowed their family and friends to enjoy this gorgeous September afternoon and the setting was breathtaking.
The couple selected our ceremony sound package and guests were greeted with a selection of modern tunes as they waited in anticipation for the vow exchange to begin. Among the songs selected were Edwin McCain’s “I’ll Be” and Dan + Shay's “Speechless”.
The wedding party walked down the aisle to Coldplay’s “The Scientist”. The bridal processional song was Hailey Rhinehart’s cover of “I Can’t Help Falling In Love”. The couple and their guests headed into cocktail hour with The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” serving as the recessional song.
The Wedding Reception
Continuing to take advantage of this beautiful fall weather, Lamis and Cody chose to have an outdoor reception.
DJ Matt got the crowd stoked for the grand entrance and the newlyweds entered to the cheers of the crowd and the sound of One Republic’s “Feel Again” and then danced their First Dance to James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go”.
“I had a special request for the Father-Daughter dance which he nailed! ”
Lamis and Cody took advantage of our music planning phone application to craft their perfect playlist. Dinner music selections included Top 40 and Alternative Rock.
“The app made it incredibly easy to choose which songs we wanted to be played at what time.”
To ensure that they covered the musical tastes of all guests, the newlyweds selected a wide variety of genres and eras. Their selections included: Top 40, Classic Rock, R & B, Motown, and Hip-Hop. After selecting the song ingredients they counted on DJ Matt to mix them together and rock the party.
“Words can’t describe how awesome Perfect Harmony Entertainment was for our wedding! Matt was absolutely incredible - he had the crowd on the dancefloor most of the night. ”
As you can see from the photo’s captured by Tyler Trippett Photography…mission accomplished.
“Words can’t describe how awesome Perfect Harmony Entertainment was for our wedding!
