Grant Street Loft | Danielle + Kurt
The Wedding Venue: Grant Street Loft
Danielle and Kurt selected Grant Street Loft as the venue for their big day. Located in Chambersburg, Grant Street Loft has quickly become one of the most sought-after venues in the area. This three-story, fully restored venue provides an atmosphere that is both rustic, industrial, and modern. Featuring a rooftop ceremony site that overlooks downtown and a second-floor reception area that is ideal for 120 guests or fewer, Grant Street Loft is one of our favorite venues.
The Wedding Team
The key to a successful event is assembling a great team of vendors that compliment and work well together. Our team members for this wedding were:
Catering: The Butcher Shoppe
Photographer: Addie Eshelman Photography
Videographer: R & E Creative
Florist: Blooming Occasions
Rentals: Shabby Chic Event Rentals
Cake: Carrie’s Cakes/Cupcakes
Dress & Suits: J & B Bridal
Hair & Makeup: Lush Hair Lab
The Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place on the rooftop. Mother Nature blessed the couple and their guest with gorgeous weather for this October Wedding Ceremony. With clear blue skies and comfortable temperatures, the weather could hardly have been better.
The wedding party walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of John Legend’s “All of Me”, while Danielle chose “Love Me Like You Do” covered by The Vitamin String Quartet for her processional. After making their vows the newlyweds were met with thunderous applause as they proceeded hand in hand down the aisle to Zac Brown Band’s “Loving You Easy”.
The Reception
The wedding reception took place on the second-floor main level. DJ Ivan introduced the wedding party to Biggie Smalls “Hypnotize” while the newlyweds entered to DMX “X Gon’ Give It To Ya” before heading to the dancefloor for their First Dance song of “Tenessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton.
Using our stress-free phone planning application, Danielle and Kurt kept the party going all night with a variety of music for their guests to “get down” to. Current Top 40 from Lizzo, Boy-Bands, Hip-Hop, Country, R&B, and Classic Rock were all on tap with even a few sing-a-long songs thrown in for good measure.
Covering a wide variety of eras and genres is the perfect recipe for ensuring that guests don’t take the early bus home from your celebration.
The Wrap Up
The end of the night came as it always does when having a great time; a bit too early. Danielle and Kurt had one last walk for the evening this time to a sparkler exit and into their awaiting car. The perfect way to cap off a tremendous celebration and the start of their lives together as husband and wife.
The Review
Danielle and Kurt were kind enought to provide their feedback about their experience with our team.
Everyone was dancing!
We hired Perfect Harmony after our first DJ fell through due to our date change. John was extremely professional and his response time was fantastic! The app they have set up for each client is wonderful. It was able to give us music recommendations for each category and kept us organized.
Our day of DJ was Ivan and he had everyone dancing at one point of the night! Ivan was able to go off the playlist we gave him but he also read the crowd to see what everyone loved to dance to.
Both Ivan and John were extremely professional and we are so thankful they were able to be a part of our day!
