While winter is not the most popular season for weddings, as an in-demand Maryland DJ serving the Frederick and Westminster MD area, we get to celebrate with brides and grooms year round! Besides, when it comes to true love, there is no season!

Weddings in December have a special place in my heart. My wife and I were married on Christmas Eve. We chose Christmas Eve because since we planned to never have children.

At the time it seemed like a great idea. Four beautiful children, later we realized that we were not as certain about our future as we thought we were!

Ashley and Darren also chose December as the wedding day opting for the 29th as their big day. The newlyweds selected the gorgeous Tusculum Farm for their wedding reception. Located in Laytonsville MD and established in 1747, Tusculum Farm is five hundred acres of beautiful farmland nestled in Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve.

The manicured grounds, an assortment of areas and buildings to gather, and terrific staff; make this venue a must-visit!

Ashely and Darren’s guests literally came from around the world to celebrate with them! These two Marine Corp officers brought the sunshine with them from their current duty station in Hawaii. As jet pilots it was no surprise that “Danger Zone” from the movie “Top Gun” was one of the first songs requested.

We thoroughly enjoyed the joyous wedding celebration and the memorable and unique moments. The cake cutting with the use of Darren’s saber was very personal and unique. The wedding toast was given by the Maid of Honor which provided the backstory to Ashley’s “Call Sign” was extremely funny and had the audience in tears.
