The Venue

Linwood Estate in Carlisle PA was the scene for Katie and Jared’s October wedding. Linwood Estate always looks magnificent but everything looks better in the fall in my opinion and the grandeur of the estate was no exception to that rule.

The Wedding Ceremony

Linwood Estate offers couples the choice of several locations for their vow exchange. Katie and Jared chose to have their wedding ceremony on the backside of the venue. This area allows the Blue Ridge Mountains to serve as a stunning backdrop!

Katie was escorted down the aisle by her father to a piano cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” to Jared’s awaiting hand. The exchange of vows was performed by their mutual friend. After the brief ceremony, the newlyweds walked out to applause and Natalie Cole’s “Everlasting Love”.

The Reception

Cocktail hour and the reception were held on the patio of the Linwood Estate Mansion. Surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens, mature shade trees, and offering a walk-up bar; this was the perfect location for a socially distanced celebration.
